Project description:
The aim of the project is to adapt Spyra Prime to the changes resulting from the region’s transformation, thereby strengthening the company’s competitiveness and expanding into new markets. The project will include, in particular, the construction of a modern production hall and the purchase of machinery, equipment, and production lines.

The investment will expand the company’s portfolio with innovative microducts for indoor and Smart City installations, as well as microducts manufactured from post-production waste. In addition, the larger production area will increase the output of existing products, such as flexible composite pipes (TCP), thereby enabling access to new markets.

An additional outcome of the project will be the creation of six new jobs. The hall will also be equipped with a heat recovery system for process water installations, and photovoltaic panels are planned to be installed on its roof as a source of renewable energy.

The applicant also intends to introduce a circular economy approach (CE) by developing a process for grinding post-production waste, which will reduce HDPE waste, and implementing a system for reusing wooden drums (packaging) that are placed on the market.

All of these activities will enable the company to continue the strategy adopted in 2017, which envisages diversification of the industries supplied with its products and expansion into new markets. This will, in turn, allow the company to reduce its dependence on the mining sector, which, as recently as a decade ago, accounted for the vast majority of its revenues.
